Bus Pass Offer

National Express has kindly provided 500 28 day bus passes for the West Midlands region, free to new members of staff joining the adult social care sector within the Black Country after 1 April 2023

The West Midlands Care Association (WMCA) is administering this offer to Care Providers on behalf of NHS Black Country ICS.

This offer is open to all Care Providers registered within the Black Country (Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton) and you do not have to be a member of the West Midlands Care Association (but if you would like to know more about the benefits of membership please click here).

There is no limit to the number of passes a provider can apply for, but each new member of staff can only receive one free pass.

Passes valid for use until 31 December 2023 so each code, for a full 28 days use, should be redeemed by 30 November 2023.

How to Claim a pass for your new starter

You must be a registered in the Black Country

Your new employee must have started after 1 April 2023

In order to qualify for this scheme you must also have an Adult Social Care Workforce Data Set (ASC-WDS) account as we will be using this to verify that you have a new member of staff. If you don't have an account you can open one for free on the Skills for Care Website here

Once you have uploaded details of your new starter to your ASC WDS account, take a screenshot of the new starters details as you will need to upload this to the application form below. Please ensure it shows the start date (it must be a screenshot of the ASC WDS redord. We cannot accept any other documentation
Complete the short Application form.

Once your application is received WMCA will confirm the details and if authorised will email a code to you for your new staff member to redeem on the National Express Website

All passes are on a first come first served basis and this offer will close once all 500 passes are allocated or the claims deadline of 30 November 2023 is reached.
