Zimmer Frames are a part of life for many older people but sometimes - particularly if they have dementia - they don't like using them as they cannot associate with them.

Research has shown that you can encourage your residents and service users to use their Zimmer Frame by decorating them with items or a theme that means something to them.

The Queens Platinum Jubilee celebrations were from 2nd June - 5th June, so we asked members to work with their residents/clients and send in a creative idea of what represents their residents/clients memories from the Queens reign. The winner was announced during our Summer Showcase on the 23rd June 2022.

For our Spring Conference on 22nd March, we wanted to hold a competition that would support your residents/clients ongoing cognitive skills.

So, what better way, than to get them thinking of some of their best memories from over the years?!
