Excellence in Care Award - Outstanding Contribution to Care

We picked one of our members at random from a prize draw during the ceremony to represent everyone. The winner was Angel Care Homes in Wolverhampton. Here's Bal Bisla accepting the award on all of our members behalf

The Outstanding Contribution to care award is in the gift of the Association

It is normally awarded to an individual who has made a real difference to care within the West Midlands

This year we have decided to award it to all of our members. In a challenging year you have all gone above and beyond to care for your residents, service users and each other during an unprecedented pandemic, so for us there could have been no other winner.

As an appreciation we have sent certificates acknowledging this to all of our members

Debbie Le Quesne, Joint Chief Executive Office of the West Midlands Care Association said: ‘It has been our pleasure to continue with this awards scheme to celebrate and promote excellence within the care industry across the region particularly during a very trying time.

In this our fourth awards year we were staggered at the response - despite everything - it has been an extremely difficult process to arrive at a final shortlist.  We would like to congratulate the finalists and extend our thanks to everyone who entered.  Based on this year’s response, the West Midlands Care Associations Excellence in Care Awards can only go from strength to strength!’

Congratulations to all the finalists and thank you to all those who entered.
